This is a 2 volume set of the complete works of Shakespeare repaired and rebound in genuine leather.  It dates from around 1885 and was edited by Charles Knight  There is some damage to the first 10 pages of the 2nd volume but this does not run into the main text.  The design in the cutout on the front cover was salvaged from the original covers which were regrettably too damaged to use.  The leathers used are sea-snake on the spine and corners and goat on the infill.  There is a custom made slip case to protect them that is included.
